Monday Reset: Wins & Intentions A new week is the Monday Reset: Wins & Intentions

A new week is the perfect chance to pause, reflect, and reset. Especially today - the first day of Spring.

Start by asking yourself: What did I accomplish last week that I’m proud of? Big or small—every win counts.

Then, look ahead: What do I want to complete by Friday that will move the needle forward?

In my team, we share these every Monday in our chat—wins and focus for the week. It keeps us accountable, inspired, and moving with purpose. It also inspires many jokes.

So here’s my challenge to you:
	•	Celebrate one win.
	•	Declare one commitment.
	•	Step into your week with clarity.

What’s one win you’re celebrating and one thing you’ll complete by this week?

Mine? I listened to myself and took a much needed day off and actually let myself relax. Sounds like a win to me!

What I’ll complete? Posting here every weekday - you’re welcome to hold me to it. 😉

I didn’t want to go out. I didn’t want to face t I didn’t want to go out.

I didn’t want to face the weather

I wanted to stay home and be warm and cosy.

I didn’t want to try something new.

I didn’t want to do the hard thing.

I certainly didn’t want to do anything physical.

But I went anyway.

I showed up.

I tried the new thing.

That’s how I meet my goals.

That’s how I make myself proud.

And it’s great when your friends show up for you as well. Thanks Jen for braving the weather with me.

I am thrilled to have be a nominee for this years I am thrilled to have be a nominee for this years IWD awards.

This is meaningful as support women and helping them to grow is a passion of mine and for me this represents that the work I do has meaning to the women I support that is everything to me.

Recognition is awesome but knowing that what you do has a positive impact on even one person is just amazing.

For the women out there especially in Tech-land. Keep going, keep moving. We are a force. You can do it. You can have it. I believe in you. Thank you for believing in me.

I’ve been a bit quiet on socials for a while as I’ I’ve been a bit quiet on socials for a while as I’ve been a little busy.

Yesterday after nearly 7 years of hard work, I achieved my Black Belt in Japanese Ju Jitsu.

For a no longer young, couch potato, the fact that I could achieve this alongside students more than half my age just shows what you can do if you put the work in.

It’s been quite a journey to get this far and one I honestly couldn’t have done without the support of a lot of people. Jess Wood Michelle Lambropoulos, Mich Mountford, Jennifer Rosario, Joe P, Sam Lamb, Darren Higgs, Erin Gao, Bella, Lisa Neaves, Chris, Matt, Bill, Bette, Caitlyn, Courtney Prior, Rex Haozhe Zhang, Courtney G, Kelly, Paul, Jason, Rachel Haigh and of course Andy Sensei.

Everyone’s support from extra training with me to pushing me along, to sending me messages of support, to believing I could do it even when I didn’t, to yelling at me on the day to “get back up”.

Thank you all of you, I truly couldn’t have done it without you.
